A person was found dead Monday at the scene of a house fire in Granada Hills.
The fire was reported at 8:06 a.m. at 11621 N. Swinton Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters attacked the blaze and once they had it under control, they found one person “without signs of life” inside the one-story, single-family home, according to a fire department spokesman.
The fire was declared out by 8:29 a.m., he said.
The cause of the fire, and the person’s death, were under investigation.
