One person was arrested after a police pursued a driver to West Covina Tuesday.
A blue Nissan SUV tried to evade California Highway Patrol officers through the Pomona (60) and Long Beach (710) freeways after running a red light around 2:27 a.m. Tuesday, a CHP spokesperson said.
The driver was taken into custody around 2:43 a.m. near Fairgrove and Lark Ellen avenues, the CHP said. An air unit from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrest.
Video from the scene showed the vehicle colliding with bushes after careening onto a sidewalk and one woman being arrested by CHP officers.
No injuries were reported, authorities said.
