One person was injured in a shooting in South Los Angeles Saturday.
The person was hospitalized in an unknown condition after officers responded to a victim down in the middle of the street and found evidence of a gunshot wound around 2:37 a.m. near 445 W. 70th Street, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers were searching for a suspect as of 5 a.m. and there was no suspect description available, police said.
Video from the scene shows LAPD officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel calmly loading a man into an ambulance.
Officers are still investigating the scene, according to the LAPD.
