An RV fire spread to two other recreational vehicles in Desert Hot Springs Monday, displacing three occupants and sending one person to a hospital for heat-related injuries.
The blaze was reported shortly before 1 p.m. Monday in the 17400 block of Ben-Mar, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency stated nine engines, along with an engine from the Palm Springs Fire Department, responded to the scene of an RV engulfed in flames that spread to other vehicles.
Crews contained the blaze about 1:45 p.m.
The Red Cross was requested to assist with the displaced occupants.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
