A 60-year-old San Diego County man suspected of threatening a Temecula resident was behind bars Monday.
Louis George White Jr. of Warner Springs was arrested Saturday following an investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
White was booked into the Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of making criminal threats and weapons violations. Bail information was unavailable.
Deputies were dispatched around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday to the 31000 block of Nicolas Road, near Joseph Road, regarding a report of criminal threats, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Ricken.
Specific details were not provided. There were no reports of injuries.
Ricken said the investigation ultimately identified White as the alleged perpetrator, culminating in a search warrant being served as his residence in the 35000 block of Peralta Drive, near Highway 78.
The sergeant said items of “evidentiary value” were seized, including several guns, but no other details were disclosed. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
