A 62-year-old man found unresponsive in Lancaster and later declared dead was identified Tuesday.
The death was reported at 5:43 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 210th Street East and East Avenue E, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Deputies arriving at the scene in response to a “man down” call were met by paramedics, who pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
“Deputies learned a passerby riding a dirt bike observed a male down at the location, and they immediately notified authorities,” according to a sheriff’s department statement.
The man was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Ricardo Silva Paredes.
No further information was immediately available.
