Police sought the public’s assistance Friday in identifying the driver in a hit-and-run in Hollywood that injured two pedestrians.
A white sedan, possibly a 2025 Kia K4, was traveling eastbound on Sunset Boulevard, east of Bronson Avenue, around 2 a.m. Tuesday when it struck two pedestrians crossing the street, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.
The driver of the vehicle fled eastbound on Sunset Boulevard, then southbound on Van Ness Avenue, police said.
Anyone with information about this collision is asked to call the West Traffic Division at 213-473-0216.
The LAPD reminded motorists that if they are involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe, notify emergency services and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
The Los Angeles City Council created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund on April 15, 2015 that provides a reward of up to $25,000 to people who provide information leading to an offender’s identification, apprehension and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise, the LAPD said in a statement.
