A motorist was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in connection with a disabled vehicle Monday morning on the Century (105) Freeway in Lynwood, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched about 2:20 a.m. to the eastbound freeway, just west of the Long Beach (710) Freeway, where a vehicle — possibly an Infinity SUV — was disabled in the HOV lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorist was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. He was first taken to Memorial Hospital of Gardena for medical clearance, prior to being arrested, the CHP said.

There was no other immediate information available.
