A woman was fatally wounded Monday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
Officers dispatched at about 5:20 a.m. Monday to the 1900 block of Long Beach Boulevard regarding a shooting located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed her to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
“Homicide detectives responded to the scene,” according to a police statement. “The motive, circumstances of the shooting, and suspect information remain under investigation.”
