Detectives sought tips from the public Wednesday that could help solve a South Los Angeles homicide from 2020.
A $50,000 reward was offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed 35-year-old Demetri Lamar Alexander, who was gunned down in a parking lot in the 3500 block of West Slauson Avenue, west of Crenshaw Boulevard, in the Park Mesa Heights neighborhood around 9:25 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2020, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Alexander was standing in the lot when unknown suspects opened fire on him. He was struck and taken to a hospital, where he died the following day, police said.
Police released images of two suspects and the vehicle they used in the hope that someone will recognize them and contact detectives. The images can be found at x.com/LAPDPIO/status/2097777267762201068/photo/1.
