A Los Angeles Fire Department rescue ambulance was involved in crash in Boyle Heights Wednesday that injured as many as five people.
The crash was reported about 1:55 p.m. in the 300 block of South Boyle Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A report from the scene indicated that at least one firefighter was among those injured. No details were immediately available on the cause of the crash, the number of vehicles involved or the conditions of the injured.
