A fire broke out Thursday at a three-story residence in the community of Green Acres, near the community of Homeland.
The blaze was reported at 1:14 p.m. Thursday in the 26500 of Cortrite Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency stated that arriving crews encountered heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage. Ten engines and a water truck, along with additional resources, were sent to the location to douse the flames.
It was not immediately known if any injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
