A crash, possibly involving a motorcycle or bicycle, left one person dead Friday in Carson.
The collision was reported just after 6:30 a.m. Friday in the 17200 block of Avalon Boulevard, near the Gardena (91) Freeway, according to the watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Carson Station.
No details about the fatal crash or the victim were immediately available.
The California Highway Patrol closed the off-ramp from the westbound 91 Freeway to Avalon Boulevard, and a SigAlert was in effect as traffic investigators from the Carson station worked the scene.
