A Los Angeles Fire Department engine was involved in a collision with three other vehicles in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles Sunday, resulting in seven patients being transported to a hospital.
The collision occurred at 11928 S. Figueroa St., near the Harbor (110) and Glen Anderson (105) freeways, about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the LAFD’s Jamie Stewart.
One person required extrication from a vehicle, and of the seven injured people was a member of the LAFD, Stewart said.
The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
The cause of the crash was also not yet known.
