A man was killed in South El Monte Monday, prompting an investigation by the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau.
The death in the area of Loma Avenue and Rush Street was reported at 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The department did not release a cause of death.
