A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 86-year-old man last seen in Pico Rivera Monday.
Cruz Flores was last seen around noon Monday near Ivy and Elnora streets, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Flores was described as a 5-foot-3-inch-tall man weighing 145 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige shirt and blue pants.
Authorities said Flores is believed to be traveling in a white 1994 Toyota Corolla with California license plate 7EZK385.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
