A Silver Alert was activated for an at-risk 81-year-old woman last seen in Los Angeles Wednesday.
Patricia Powell was last seen around 4:12 p.m. in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The CHP did not specify where Powell was last seen in Los Angeles.
Powell was described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall woman, weighing 163 pounds, who is bald with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black leggings and beige shoes and is believed to be on foot.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
