Police sought the public’s help Friday in finding an 86-year-old woman with degenerative brain disease who went missing in Arlington Heights.
Ana Marlina Martinez was last seen around 3 p.m. Thursday at her caregiver’s home north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the 1800 block of Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Martinez is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 125 pounds and has white hair and dark eyes. She was wearing a blue floral dress when she went missing.
A Silver Alert was issued on her behalf.
Anyone who spots her should call 911 or 213-382-9182 to speak with the watch commander at the LAPD’s Olympic station.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
