Three men believed to be in their 20s stole a cellphone at gunpoint in Southeast Los Angeles Friday evening.
Officers responded around 8 p.m. Friday near Slauson Avenue and Fortuna Street and the Metro A Line’s Slauson station, to reports of armed robbery, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the suspects ran away and were last seen on Compton Avenue, and that one suspect was armed with an AR-style rifle. A second suspect was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
It remains unclear if the victim sustained any injuries during the alleged robbery.
