A firefighter was transported to a hospital with minor injuries from an outside fire Saturday in the Westlake community of Los Angeles, which extended into a two-story apartment, a single-story home and a recreational vehicle, authorities said.
A person rescued from a structure was being treated at the location, at 525 S. Union Ave., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. That person’s condition was not immediately known.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 12:58 p.m. and additional resources were requested, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There was no other immediate information.
