Firefighters Saturday knocked down a contents fire on the first floor of a three-story apartment in Exposition Park, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 9:08 a.m. to 1437 W. 38th St. had the fire out within 18 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
