An employee was wounded Sunday morning allegedly by two masked gunman at a smoke shop in Bellflower, who then threw a Molotov cocktail igniting a fire at the establishment, authorities said.
The condition of that employee was not known, according to a watch commander at the sheriff’s Lakewood station.
Deputies were dispatched about 4:30 a.m. to a “shots fired” call at The Spot Smok Shop, 9135 Somerset Blvd., he said.
The masked suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, he said.
There was no other immediate information.
