A 78-year-old man who died in a hit-and-run crash in Long Beach was identified Monday.
Ramon Garcia died at a hospital on Thursday as the result of “thermal and inhalation injuries,” according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office, which listed his manner of death as accidental.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the man was struck by an unspecified vehicle heading westbound on Anaheim Street, between Harbor Avenue and the 710 Freeway.
No other details were immediately available.
