A shooting where one person died in an apparent homicide in Florence-Graham was under investigation Friday.
The fatal shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. Thursday at a business on the 2000 block of Nadeau Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A witness informed deputies that two armed suspects entered the business and exchanged gunfire with an employee, the sheriff’s department said. The suspects fled the location following the gunfire exchange.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The witness fled to the back of the building while the victim confronted the armed suspects, the sheriff’s department said.
The shooting is under investigation and no further information was immediately available.
