A fire in a single-story vacant commercial building in Pacoima was quickly knocked down Thursday.
Fire crews responded around 6 p.m. Thursday to the 9000 block of Woodman Avenue, near Osborne Street, to battle flames at a 40-foot-by-50-foot structure, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters proceeded in offensive mode to knock down the fire and reported a ”contents-only” fire inside the building, Lantz said.
The fire was extinguished within 13 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
