Police officers arrested two suspects Thursday after the pair led them on a pursuit across the Interstate 10 Freeway near downtown.
The pursuit began at 12:10 a.m. after officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division initially followed the vehicle traveling southbound on the Harbor (110) Freeway after the vehicle failed to yield for a traffic stop.
The two suspects then led the LAPD on a chase across residential streets, heading northbound on Flower Street in a silver Infiniti sedan before colliding with an LAPD vehicle on 8th Place and Figueroa Street.
The two suspects, revealed to be a male driver and female passenger, fled from the stolen vehicle but officers quickly arrested the pair at 12:40 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
