A man’s death in Compton Sunday prompted an investigation by sheriff’s homicide detectives.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department dispatched an investigator at 8:42 a.m. Sunday to the 500 block of West Cedar Street, south of Rosecrans Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau, which released no additional information about the investigation.
