A strange odor emanating from a chemistry lab at Canyon Oaks High School in Monrovia on Monday left three students suffering from itchy throats and coughing.
Hundreds of students were evacuated from the school at 930 Royal Oaks Drive shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to the Monrovia Fire Department.
The cause of the odor was still being investigated.
