A Cal State University Northridge staff member who stopped to ask what two men loitering outside of some classrooms were doing was threatened with assault, police said Wednesday.
The confrontation occurred at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near Sierra Hall, according to campus police.
The first suspect pulled out a small crowbar from his pant pocket and held it out while saying in a threatening manner, “You’re going to make me leave.” Then the two suspects fled when the staff member tried to stop the assault.
Both suspects were in their early 20s, white and of medium build. One had a tear drop tattoo under his left eye and “5150” tattoo on his neck. One was pictured with a beard and the other appeared to be clean shaven.
Anyone with information was asked to call (818) 677-3826 or (818) 677-6919.
