An SUV wound up in a swimming pool at Pepperdine University in Malibu in what may have been a college prank.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported in the pool at 6:25 p.m. Saturday on the campus at 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was not known if it was an accident or intentional, the CHP said.
There were no injuries, said Dispatch Supervisor Bernard Peters of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The pool was 35 to 40 feet off the roadway, the CHP said. It called for a tow truck with 60 feet of cable to pull the Jeep out of the pool.
