A fire damaged a classroom Monday at St. Columbkille Elementary School in the southwest Los Angeles area.
Firefighters sent to the 200 block of West 64th Street about 7 a.m. extinguished the flames in nine minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
