A telephoned bomb threat Wednesday prompted the evacuation of Los Angeles High School for about four hours while the campus was searched.
Police were sent to the school in the 4600 block of West Olympic Boulevard about 8:10 a.m., and students were moved to a secure area of the campus as a precaution.
A search of the campus was conducted, and the area was declared safe around noon, according to Los Angeles Unified School District police.
No explosives were found, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The nature of the threat was not disclosed.
