A social media threat involving Grant High School early Tuesday resulted in a search of the campus by a bomb squad, which determined there was no danger, authorities said.

The incident was the second in two days involving the campus in the 13000 block of Oxnard Street, which was placed on lockdown Monday for several hours following a threat apparently also disseminated over the Internet, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

A teenager was taken into custody for questioning in connection with Monday’s incident, which was investigated as an apparent hoax, the LAPD reported.

In Tuesday’s incident, the bomb squad searched the campus and declared it safe before the school day began, the LAPD reported. The threat apparently was made via Instagram.
