Kings players Dustin Brown, Tyler Toffoli, Alec Martinez and Nate Thompson will throw a ceremonial first pitch before Saturday evening’s San Diego Padres-Los Angeles Dodgers game in connection with Los Angeles Kings Night.
Retired Kings broadcaster Bob Miller, broadcaster Daryl Evans and retired defenseman Jaroslav Modry will sign autographs in Dodger Stadium’s Right Field Plaza from 4-6 p.m.
Emmerson Roberts, the daughter of manager Dave Roberts, will sing the national anthem in connection with her father’s jersey giveaway to the first 40,000 ticketed fans in attendance. She also sang the national anthem on his bobblehead night, July 6, 2017.
U.S. Navy Command Master Chief Tracy Lyon will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game.
Lyon enlisted in the Navy in July 1999, and attended boot camp at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. She later completed Aviation Electronics Technician A School in Pensacola, Florida.
Lyon served sea tours with Strike Fighter Squadron 203, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light Squadron Six Zero Patrol Squadron Six Two and other squadrons.
Lyon’s honors include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal.
