A hazardous materials team responded to a Rancho Bernardo home Thursday after receiving reports of an overdose death.
Crews responded around 4 a.m. to a home in the 11300 block of Calenda Road, north of Rancho Bernardo Road and a few blocks away from Westwood Elementary School, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
First responders discovered an unconscious 27-year-old man and he was pronounced dead at the scene, 10News reported.
Details regarding the death were not immediately available.
