The Palm Springs Unified School District will hold a vaccination clinic Wednesday, including shots of the pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine along with flu shots.

The clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the District Service Center, 150 District Center Drive in Palm Springs. Desert Oasis Healthcare will be administering the flu vaccine, Moderna and Pfizer adult COVID-19 vaccines, COVID-19 vaccine booster shots and the recently approved pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11.

The vaccines are free of charge and walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended, officials said.

The Pfizer pediatric vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson boosters will be administered from 2 to 6 p.m. specifically.

In order to receive a second dose of a vaccine or a booster shot, attendees must bring a vaccination card as proof of receiving a prior dose. Attendees wishing to receive a booster shot must meet the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requirements.
