Rancho Mirage High School students were confined to their classrooms for about 20 minutes Thursday due to an unspecified student safety issue.
Joan Boiko from the Palm Springs Unified School District told City News Service that students were kept in their classrooms from around noon to 12:20 p.m.
“Students were contained in their classroom following an individual student safety issue,” Boiko said.
She added that the issue was resolved within 15 minutes and there was no threat to the campus.
No other details were released.
