One construction worker was killed and another was injured in an accident at Villa Park High School Thursday.
The bleachers in a gymnasium at the school at 18042 Taft Ave. collapsed about 10:20 a.m. Thursday while the gym was being renovated, authorities said.

Orange County Fire Capt. Sean Doran said firefighters were dispatched at 10:21 a.m. and one worker was pronounced dead on scene and the other was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.
No students or staff were in the area when the accident happened, Doran said.
