It took firefighters 18 minutes to put out flames in the center hall of a boarded-up two-story commercial building in Boyle Heights Saturday.

The fire was reported at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at 2810 E. Wabash Ave., near Forest Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.

The flames were out at 3:33 p.m., Stewart said.

No injuries were reported.
