A fire broke out Monday in the bedroom of a home in the Pico-Robertson section of Los Angeles, and no one was injured.
The fire was reported at 10:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Shenandoah Street, according to Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews encountered smoke coming from the one-story, single-family house and found flames in a rear bedroom, Lantz said.
Crews extinguished the fire in 12 minutes, then remained on scene to ensure it had not spread to other parts of the home, according to Lantz.
