Firefighters from Los Angeles and Long Beach put out a greater alarm fire Monday in an auto parts business in Wilmington.
The fire was reported at 3:17 a.m. at 1000 N. Cristobal Avenue at Opp Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The single-story building was well-involved in flames when firefighters arrived, Humphrey said. Flames threatened an adjacent pallet yard.
The team of more than 100 firefighters put out the flames in 62 minutes, at 4:19 a.m., he said.
No injuries were reported, Humphrey said. The cause was under investigation.
