A fire broke out at a home in La Quinta Friday but was quickly contained, and no injuries were reported.
The blaze was reported shortly after 9 a.m. Friday in the 50300 block of Spyglass Hill Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews contained the fire around 9:35 a.m.
Southern California Gas, Imperial Irrigation District and other agencies were called in to assist, authorities said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
