A big rig caught on fire Thursday on eastbound Interstate 10 in Cathedral City, with no injuries reported.
The blaze was reported shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday at the Bob Hope Drive off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The semi was hauling clothing when it stopped at the bottom of the off-ramp.
Fire crews arrived at the scene and contained the vehicle fire shortly before 7 a.m.
As of 9 a.m., the Nos. one and two lanes were open, while the other lanes were expected to be closed for several hours for clean-up.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
