A major emergency fire involving several adjacent commercial buildings is burning in Hyde Park, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced.
LAFD firefighters responded at 4:51 a.m. Saturday to 2311 W. Southwest Drive, south of Hyde Park Boulevard, where 119 firefighters were battling the flames at the site that contains a total area of approximately 200 feet x 150 feet, said LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
No injuries were reported.
In addition, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has been contacted regarding a series of downed wires at the scene, Lantz said
