A fire at an apartment building in the Exposition Park neighborhood near downtown Los Angeles was quickly extinguished Wednesday.
Fire crews responded at 3:52 a.m. to the three-story building at 1458 W. 37th Place between Halldale and Normandie avenues where they found the fire inside a closet, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took firefighters 26 minutes to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
