Firefighters Tuesday are at the scene of a fire at a two-story apartment building in Koreatown.
Los Angeles Fire Department crews were called at 4:28 a.m. to 255 S, Catalina St. north of West Third Street where they encountered heavy smoke on the second floor, said LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
Firefighters are battling the flames in an offensive mode, Middleton said.
