A fire broke out Monday at a single-story residence in Indio.
The blaze was reported at 1:21 p.m. Monday in the 80700 block of Alexandria Court, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said crews encountered an active fire at the attic of the family dwelling, and a second alarm response was requested.
No injuries were immediately reported, and the cause of the fire was unclear.
