Crews put out a non-injury fire Monday in a five-story apartment building in the Westlake District.
The fire was reported at 11:28 a.m. at 607 S. Witmer St, not far from downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was declared out 13 minutes after the 911 call reporting the blaze, a department spokesman said.
The cause was unknown.
