Firefighters extinguished a fire at an outdoor detached gazebo in the Hollywood Hills, the Los Angeles Fire Department said Tuesday.

The fire was reported at 10:17 p.m. Monday at 7571 W. Mulholland Dr.

When firefighters arrived on the scene they immediately began operating in an offensive mode.

A decending hillside home under construction was slightly damaged by the flames, as was a pine tree, said LAFD spokesman Jamie Stewart.
