Firefighters extinguished a fire at an outdoor detached gazebo in the Hollywood Hills, the Los Angeles Fire Department said Tuesday.
The fire was reported at 10:17 p.m. Monday at 7571 W. Mulholland Dr.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they immediately began operating in an offensive mode.
A decending hillside home under construction was slightly damaged by the flames, as was a pine tree, said LAFD spokesman Jamie Stewart.
LAFD units knocked down the blaze in 20 minutes, with no injuries reported, said Stewart.
The cause of the fire in under investigation.
