Fire continued to burn Sunday in the Fairmont area of Lancaster but all evacuation warnings were lifted, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported the fire at 5:29 p.m. Saturday at Lancaster and Munz Ranch roads, and noted a second alarm had been activated..
It was initially reported at 30 acres but grew to 188 acres before forward progress was stopped Saturday with lines of cleared vegetation were around 42% of the fire, according to media accounts.
The evacuation warnings were lifted about 8:20 p.m., fire officials said.
No injuries or structural damage has been reported.
